We collect the following nonpublic personal information about you from a variety of sources and may disclose all the information we collect to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have a joint marketing agreements.
- From membership and loan applications and other forms, we obtain information such as name, address, social security number and income.
- From your transactions with us or other companies that work closely with us to provide you with financial products and services, we obtain information such as your account balances, payment history, parties to transactions, and credit card usage.
- From consumer reporting agencies, we obtain information such as your creditworthiness and credit history.
- From verifications of information you provide on applications and other forms, we obtain information from current or past employers, other financial institutions and other sources listed on the application.
- What Opting-Out Means: You are entitled to opt-out of the disclosure of your nonpublic personal information. If you opt-out, you limit the extent to which the Kellogg Company Employees Federal Credit Union can provide your personal financial information to non-affiliates.
You are encouraged to opt-out within 30 (thirty) days of opening an account or obtaining a loan from Kellogg Company Employees Federal Credit Union. If you do not opt-out during this 30 (thirty) day period, our credit union is free to share certain personal financial information until you exercise your right to opt-out. If you did not opt-out within the 30 day period, it is not to late. You can opt-out of nonpublic personal financial information-sharing at any time.
Remember, however, that any of your nonpublic personal financial information shared before you opted-out cannot be retrieved by Kellogg Company Employees Federal Credit Union. Also note that even if you do opt-out, Kellogg Company Employees Federal Credit Union is permitted to disclose your information if the disclosure facilitates processing your transactions, servicing your accounts and assists in performing normal or routine transactions.

We may also disclose information we collect about you under other circumstances as permitted or required by law. "Permitted" disclosures typically include using the information to process transactions performed on your behalf, conducting the operations of our credit union, following your authorized instructions and protecting the security of our financial records.
